Our team was supposed to have our team building here, but since they don’t offer any promos for 15 people, we just backed out. I decided to bring my family instead, since this is a new resort and we also wanted to try it out.
Once you’ll hear Badian, what comes to your mind is Kawasan Falls right? Little did we know that there is a hidden public beach there as beautiful as Moalboal. I’ve heard and read about the place a gazillion times already but didn’t have the nerves to go there yet. Until one day, as the impulsive side of me struck again, I hurriedly packed my stuff and, without any hesitation, went there.
Gloria Fantasyland is one of the attractions in Dapitan. If you avail of a package at Dakak Beach Resort, one ticket is included. If you just want to visit the amusement park, you can enjoy most of the rides for 700 pesos per ticket.
My parents are from Dipolog City, and we’ve been to Dapitan many times since we were kids. Dapitan City is also known as the place where Jose Rizal was exiled. Aside from that, it’s famous for Dakak and Gloria’s Fantasyland. My mom once said that before Dakak became popular as “Dakak Resort,” part of it was owned by their family. However, they didn’t know how to manage a resort, and maybe because of the cost, they decided to sell it to Mr. Jalosjos instead.
“nice place! will recommend it to my friends!” That’s exactly what I said after our eco-adventure tour with Kuya Lolito, our guide for the day. Bojo River is located in Aloguinsan, in the southern part of Cebu, and honestly, I had never heard of this place before so this was quite an adventure for me, especially since it was my first time here.

Osmeña Peak is known as the “Little Baguio” of Cebu because of its cool weather that really makes you feel like you’re in Baguio. It is located in the southern part of Cebu Province, specifically in Mantalongon, Dalaguete. The area is also known for its fresh vegetables like cabbages, cauliflower, and pechay. It is considered the highest peak on the island at over 1,000 meters above sea level.
Every team in a company needs a break and some relaxation once in a while. For us, Team Steno, we had our team building at Rancho Cancio in Adlaon Farm, Busay, Lahug City. Located in Cebu City and about a one-hour ride from JY Square, Rancho Cancio is a private rest house that offers a perfect view of parts of Cebu, Lapu-Lapu, and even Bohol.
I’ve been itching to visit this place for a while, and finally, my family decided to go since I treated them to a waterfalls trekking adventure. They even thought it would be postponed because I still had a hangover from my company party the night before. But tadaaaa! We’re here! One of the reasons I wanted to go there was because of their wakeboarding. I had always wanted to try it. We were also able to try ATV riding, waterfalls trekking, and wakeboarding. I wanted to try rappelling and the zipline as well, but I didn’t have enough money left since I treated everyone to the waterfalls trekking.
My friends were planning to go to Funtastic Island, but it got canceled. BUT… my team ended up planning our team building there, so it was still worth the cancellation LOL! Funtastic Island is located in Gibitngil Island, Medellin, and the way to get there is by renting a boat from Medellin and crossing the sea. We stayed at Seahorse Resort in Medellin, and I honestly have no idea how much the room rates are since they were the ones who planned and reserved everything. Family Bonding Time! Since it’s summer, my family decided to have a mini getaway. And since Papa didn’t want to go south, we just went to the north side. I searched for resorts there because I’m not really familiar with the area. I even looked into El Salvador, but I didn’t like the place. Then, I saw my friend on Facebook uploading her summer photos. Evil grin And that’s how I found Coco Palm Resort.
