Bantayan Island

My first trip to Bantayan Island, located north of Cebu City, Philippines, was back in May 2009 with my friends. After that, I decided I should return to that “little Boracay of Cebu” every year. How to Get There? Going to Bantayan Island will really test your patience, especially with the 2–3 hour bus ride and 1½-hour barge trip. Air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned buses are available to take you from the Cebu North Bus Terminal to Hagnaya Wharf.

Moalboal

I’ve never tried staying overnight in Moalboal yet, but I’ve already been there three times. Moalboal is located on the southern side of Cebu Province and is one of the go-to destinations for Cebuanos and tourists alike. On our first trip back in 2011, we only rented a cottage for ₱500 since we stayed for just about two hours. It wasn’t really planned… I simply got bored and decided to head down south.

Bohol: City Tour

One of the tourist destinations in the Philippines is Bohol, which is a neighboring island of Cebu. Bohol is known for its Chocolate Hills and tarsiers, which are the smallest primates in the world. Let’s start with the Chocolate Hills. Most of them are located in Sagbayan and Carmen. They are covered in green grass that turns brown during the dry season.

Visiting Legazpi City

What comes to your mind every time you hear Legazpi City? Well, for me, I had no idea until I finally visited. I’ve mostly traveled around Cebu and Dipolog City, so this was actually my first time flying out of Cebu. My aunt asked me to come with her to visit her boyfriend’s family, and she mentioned that we’d be seeing Mayon Volcano. I didn’t even know that Mayon Volcano is in Legazpi City, lol. Anyway, we only stayed for three days (yes, it’s just a short trip), and I didn’t get to take many photos. But here are a few snapshots from my trip.
