Tinago Falls of Iligan City

It was a chilly morning on our 2nd day in Northern Mindanao — thanks to Bukidnon weather. We’d love to stay and cuddle with the pillow but we had to go to Iligan City that day. Nearly 4-hours away from Bukidnon, we had to travel back to Cagayan De Oro ’cause it’s the entry point for Iligan. Iligan City, the capital of Lanao del Norte, is the home of Maria Cristina Falls. Aside from Maria Cristina, Iligan is also proud of Tinago Falls, which is located in Linamon municipality.

Cagayan De Oro River Rafting

We woke up at 6am and got ready for our last adventure of our Northern Mindanao Escapade! Hooray!! Cagayan De Oro is known for its river rafting and many adrenaline junkies have visited CDO for this main reason. El Nido is one on my bucket list and supposedly, I should have gone here last year already but canceled it. But finally this year, I have decided to book again with my little sister who is coming home from Australia to celebrate her birthday as well. El Nido is known for its beautiful beaches, limestone mountains, caves, lagoons, and marine life. Many people want to visit El Nido to experience its beauty, but they often think it is expensive. Short Escape in Pacific Cebu Resort

I was looking for a great place to stay to chill which will not hurt my budget since I’m not really a fan of resorts. Thankful to my friend who suggested the place, I have booked a room for only 3,999php per night. Since I won’t be staying long at the resort ’cause I still have a flight the next day then it was a short escape in Pacific Cebu Resort, indeed.

Solo Trip to Baguio and La Union

Yes, you read it right! Finally, I traveled solo for the very first time after canceling the Camiguin and El Nido! The original plan was Zambales-Pangasinan and since boat rentals are expensive especially if you’re alone then naaaah. Tinuy-an Falls of Bislig City

I arrived in Mangagoy at around 7:00 in the morning. Then meet my guide for the whole day and went instantly to my first destination, which is the Tinuy-an Falls of Bislig City. It took almost an hour before we reach the falls and it is already starting to drizzle. And when we arrived, I was so excited to see the ‘Niagara Falls’ of Mindanao. However, what I imagined was very different from the actual falls in front of me. Apparently, I went there during summer, when the country was struggling with El Niño. Even so, I was still in awe with the view.

The Enchanted River of Surigao del Sur

One of the top tourist destination in the country can be found in Mindanao. It is the Enchanted River of Surigao del Sur. I guess, everyone has it on their bucket list. It was even featured in one of the blogs where it says ‘one of the destination you need to go before you die’. The name itself describes the river for its enchanting stories and mysterious events. But why is it called Enchanted River and what makes it enchanting? Locals say that there are supernatural beings who resides there. DIY Davao-Bislig-Hinatuan-Tandag-Lanuza-Surigao City

So many asked us, ‘Why go to Davao if you’re going to Enchanted River? You can go to Butuan’ and blah blah blah’. I have my own reasons and one of those is to experience how safe Davao City is. Although, I didn’t stay that long in Davao thanks to the delayed flight of Cebu Pacific, I was able to experience how safe the place and how responsible Davaoeños are. Team Building in Camotes

Stressed from work and want a short break to relax and unwind? There’s an island just two hours away from mainland Cebu. It’s another gem Cebu can be proud of and comparable to Bantayan Island and Malapascua Island. Summer has officially started, and we, as a team, were looking for a nice place to hold our team-building activity when we decided on Camotes Island.
