One of the known surfing spots in the Philippines is Cloud 9. Big surfing competition events are also held here. As what Kuya Roel (our tour guide for the day) said, them as locals doesn’t care about the waves at first. Until foreigners went to visit the place and discovered that it was one of the best spot for surfing. And so it began.
The Boardwalk was built for viewers during surfing competitions and, of course, for the surfers as well. During my visit, it was raining heavily, and the waves seemed really angry lol. That meant we couldn’t surf at this spot, or the waves would have destroyed the surfboards.
I just enjoyed taking some photos in the boardwalk while waiting for the rain to stop. Next on the list…….island hopping!
