Recently, Vigan was declared as one of the 7 Wonder Cities of the World. The city, which is the capital of Ilocos Sur, is well preserved to show the Spanish architecture as of the present time.
Everyone wants to go to Vigan to stroll around Calle Crisologo and to taste their very own longganisa, bagnet and empanadas. Although we have a kalesa ride in Cebu and even in Dumaguete, nothing will beat it if it’s in the street of Vigan. Aside from that, the city is also well known for its antique shops.
How to Get There?
You can take a bus from Manila and it will take you 8-9 hours to get there.
What to Do in Vigan?
You can take a kalesa for 150 pesos per hour and the kutsero will do the tour for you. Below are the list of the spots in Vigan City.
1. Bell Tower
2. Pottery Making
3. Museums
4. Calle Crisologo
I didn’t go to Baluarte since I don’t have enough time. Buuuuut never miss their longganisa, bagnet and empanada and buy something for your friends and relatives.
