The Majestic Salagdoong Beach

Salagdoong Beach in Maria, which is facing towards Camiguin island and has a cove-like view, is one of the main attractions in Siquijor island.. It is currently managed by their local government so it has an entrance fee of 15 pesos each. It also has a water slide (non-functional at the moment), cottages, comfort rooms and canteen. You can already stay there overnight ’cause they have rooms for rent but since Maria town is 12kms away from Siquijor City then they have a separate fare for trikes to and fro.

Before you can reach the beach, enjoy Salagdoong Forest’s view.

Aside from it’s beautiful white sand beach, Salagdoong is best know for its cliff jumping. Just like Camotes and Funtastic Island in Cebu, they also have their own version here.

There’s really nothing to do here but to beach bum or if you have a gopro then go take some under water photos like these:
or meditate and think of all your problems since birth like this:
or tie up your hammock or look for some shady part of the beach then drink a bottle of beer:
So that’s how our adventure in Siquijor ended. Too bad we weren’t able to buy any love potions. tehee~
