Baguio City is the summer capital of the Philippines and to tell you honestly, I’m not really planning to go there. My friends keep on telling me to go with them but I’m not really interested. The movie ‘That thing called tadhana’ didn’t change my mind as well ’cause after the movie, I’m still not interested to go there (no offense to Baguio peeps).
But hey! There are more things aside from parks that will make you love Baguio City. Aside from it’s cold weather and strawberries, I love how people dress up in Baguio. lol
Also, when you are in Baguio, it seems like you are not in the Philippines anymore. etchos! So what did I do in Baguio?
I went to Burnham Park just to check if how it looks like since everyone who’s going to Baguio City has pictures here. Burnham Park is one of the parks in Baguio City where you can relax with your family. It has a man made lake in the center of the park where you can rent a paddle boat.
There’s also Session Road, where different establishments are located. People are very fashionable and even guys really did a good job with their fashion styles but not all of them though so don’t expect too much from what I’m saying. I’m prolly exaggerating ’cause we can’t wear like this here in Cebu. lol
Then there’s SM Baguio. The only mall I’ve been to with no air conditioner but still freaking cold! And this is the view from one of their terrace at 6:45pm. Yaaaas, you read it right. There’s still sunset at 6:45pm and it looks like Mordor for Sauron’s sake!
So that’s the only thing I’ve done in Baguio. Eat, walk, then stare at people walking around Session Road and SM. Maybe next time I visit Baguio, I’ll explore it more. 😉
