Cambugahay Falls is one of the main attractions in Siquijor Island. Located in Lazi town, it is an-hour-or-more drive from Siquijor city.
Cambugahay Falls has a magnificent clear and turquoise waters. From Siquijor City, a tour around Lazi will cost you 500 pesos for the trike. But if you are on a day tour, then it is for 1000 pesos.
Before you’ll reach and enjoy it, you will have to go down a 135 stone steps.
One of the things that you can do in Cambugahay Falls is to try their ‘baging’ swing. I don’t really know what it’s called but I like it that way. lol. So how does ‘baging’ swing works?
Step 1: Get all the strength you have for that day but leave something for the rest of your tour.
Step 2: Pull yourself up and levitate like you have super powers.
Step 3: Be ready for the plunge!
It was really really really fun that you need to do it more than once. So photos below are us doing the ‘baging’ swing.
The only disadvantage is the minor wounds or bruises from the “baging,” but overall, it was really FUN!! How many times did I say “fun”? Sheesh.
Moving on, you can also climb up to the mouth of the falls to take some pics or even jump into the water. But as for us, we just stuck to taking photos instead. lol
