Universal Studios Singapore for first timers

I really think that USS needs its own post so here it is. Universal Studios in Singapore is one of the top tourist attraction of the country. If you are looking for a whole day adrenaline and crazy rides then you are in the right place.
How to Get There?
You can ride a bus or cable car from Vivo City and we chose the latter.
.
For cable car, it will be 28sgd/1000php for adults or just book in klook.com to book it for 700php. This will take you 10-15minutes to reach Sentosa Island.
.
Where to Get the Ticket?
It is advisable to purchase the ticket beforehand and online. Regular price is 76SGD but you can purchase it for 68SGD in klook.com website..

What to Do?
A lot! When I say a lot, you need 2 days to try every rides and see the shows there. There are 7 categories you can choose from and i’ll try to rate them base on my experience
.
Hollywood All I can remember here are the minions lol.
.
Madagascar Definitely for kids ’cause I didn’t remember anything on this section *sobs
.
Far Far Away (Rating: ★★☆☆☆)
They have the smallest roller coaster here which we rode first. You can also get inside the castle to try the 4D show for kids. You can find the puss n’ boots ride here too.

.
The Lost World (Rating: ★★★★☆)

Be ready to get wet here! Good thing we brought extra T-shirts to USS, because we were soaking wet after the WaterWorld show, where you can watch live stunts right in front of you.

.
You can find the Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure here where you can experience the Jurassic Park thrill. If you really love the movie just like me then you’ll definitely enjoy here!

You can also try the Canopy here for kids.
.
Ancient Egypt (Rating: ★★★★★)
Don’t miss Revenge of the Mummy, a high-speed roller coaster ride. This is my third roller coaster, and it’s the best so far. My friend even cried in the middle of it.
Note: if you have claustrophobia then this is not for you. But you can still try it though just like Neil who has it.
.
Sci-Fi City  (Rating: ★★★★★)
If you cried when Optimus Prime died then that makes you a Transformer fan and you’ll probably love the Transformer ride here. A 4D ride where you can experience a real like scene from the movie where you’ll be saved by Optimus Prime and Bumblebee by the Decepticons. One of the best!
.
Here you can find Galactica roller coaster too. If you haven’t heard of it then this is what it looks like.

It is 3x faster than the Revenge of the Mummy. Unfortunately, me and Neil didn’t try it out ’cause we are mentally and spiritually exhausted of all the rides LOL!

.
New York
Last but not the least is to experience what it feels like to be in New York. Wasn’t able to see their show but its still okay.
Tips:
Come early
Bring bottled water and refill it in any drinking fountain
Wear light and comfortable since Singapore is hot and humid
Be prepared to get wet so bring extra tshirts
Be ready to wait for long lines. To avoid crowds, go on weekdays and non holidays.

So that’s it! Those are some tips in Universal Studios Singapore for first timers and hope it helps.

    1. LOL I really lost my voice because of this ride. Worst, our friend who’s from SG didn’t tell us that it’s a high speed roller coaster. But worth the ride!
