Team Building in Oslob with Steno!!

What month is it?!!! It’s TEAM BUILDING TIME!!!! And this time, it will be in Oslob. insert party emoji here

Everyone’s excited for the team building since it will be the perfect opportunity to relax and take a break from all the stress at work. On top of that, we’ll be visiting lots of tourist spots in Oslob!

off to Tumalog Falls!

This is not my first time in Oslob, as I’ve already visited its most famous tourist spots: whale shark watching in Tan-awan and Tumalog Falls last summer. This time, however, the team won’t be going whale shark watching, as it’s quite expensive and our budget is tight. So, how did it go?

Getting There:

Our assembly time is as early as 6:00 in the morning (although it’s not really that early anymore) since travel time to Oslob can take around 3–4 hours. But since we rented a van for only 5,000 PHP, there won’t be any problems, unlike taking a bus, which has a lot of stopovers.

Others look like dead logs! Hahahha!

We arrived there ahead of time and got ready for our first stop. But before I share that, let me show you how the resort looked like.

Where to Stay?

We stayed at Lagunde Resort, and I have to tell you—it’s superb and a great place for team building. Why? First, you can rent the entire house for only ₱6,000, which already accommodates 12 people. If you have more guests, you can simply add ₱250 per person.

Second, their rooms are air conditioned, they do have a kitchen, WIFI, cable TV, shower and approachable caretakers. See the photo below? That’s how big the place is.

They also have a pool and a beach.

Now let’s proceed to our first stop. (This is final, I promise)

Our first stop was Tumalog Falls and though this is my second time already, I still find the place so majestic. Since, it’s my second time here, I also served as the ‘part-time-guide’. LOL. Anyway, just check the photos below.

And after freshening up, we’re now heading back to the resort and it means we will have to hike up to the parking area. *whew* Well you can always take the habal-habal for 30 pesos but my team really wanted to hike. And just like last summer, we also tried the buko juice for 20 pesos.

Then the next day, we went for the second spot, which is the Sumilon Island. We took this opportunity to visit it since it is also a known destination for tourists.

From Tan-awan or briefing area for Whale Shark Watching, it is a 15-2o minutes travel to the Island.

And who will ever forget to take the obligatory underwater photos in every ‘dagat‘ getaway? lol

So that is how our team building ends. Tiring but fun.
