Papa Kit’s Marina and Fish Lagoon is not just all about fishing. It is also an adventure park just like Danasan Eco Park but closer to the city. Been here thrice already but this time, they already have the wake boarding which makes me literally happy. This place is best for family outings and for adventure – addicts. So what are the other things you can do aside from fishing here?
The place is located in Brgy. Silot, Liloan Cebu. Papa Kit’s offers the following:
Entrance Fee: Php 100 (this is consumable on food & drinks, Free entrance below 6 years old)
Horseback Riding: Php 75
Fishing Rod for Rent: Php 100 ( unlimited use w/ bait)
Small Fishing Cottages: Php 200
Cottages: Php 600 / Php 900
Bicycle for Rent: Php 50 (1 hour)
ATV for Rent: Php 500
800 meters Zipline: Php 200 regular (2 way), Php 400 superman ride (2 way)
Jungle Bridge: Php 150
Regular Bridge: Php 100
Wall Climbing: Php 100
Wake Boarding: Php 400 (weekdays) / Php 500 (weekends) for 1 hour
Since I was a little bit depress for canceling my trip to Siquijor because of Tropical Domeng, then I went to Papa Kit’s to wake board instead.
How to Get There?
You can take a multicab from Mandaue City to Silot, Liloan for 14 pesos only. Just tell the driver to drop you off to Papa Kit’s and they will know what to do.
What to do Here?
Note that below are the following things that we did in Papa Kit’s.
1. WAKEBOARDING
What we did first as we arrive in Papa Kits is to go to the Wake Board area directly. Good thing we we’re early and it is Monday so we are the first and only customer at the morning. Yipeee! Some staff are friends of my boyfriend as well so it is very comfortable talking to them. However, we still need to wait for 10 am before we can start because the tide is not that enough yet for us to play. Sooooooo it’s PICTURE TIME!
Then we started playing…

What I like about this place compared to Danasan is that it’s much cleaner because the water is from the sea, unlike in Danasan where it’s stagnant. The wakeboarding area here is also longer, whereas in Danasan, the beginner and advanced areas are separated. Here, there’s only one area for everyone to use.

2. Trying out the Jungle Bridge!
If you are afraid of heights then this is the best way for you to conquer it! I tell you, it is fun! Even my little sister who is afraid of heights tried it and enjoyed it with her sweaty face! lol
For 150 pesos only, you can already enjoy their hanging bridge, the wire bridge(?), the ‘other’ hanging bridge LOL and their spiderman-like rope. (lol I don’t know what it’s called)

Just enough to sweat you out.

Next is the hanging bridge again but this time, it is less scarier for them (as long as there’s harness lol).
3. Zipline
We didn’t tried the zipline in our latest visit because we’ve already done it. So here are some photos from the present and the past visits.

4. Fishing
The time we got our first catch of bangus fish! Wepee!
I don’t mean to brag, but I was the first one to catch a bangus. feeling awesome Sadly, I only got one while my sister caught two. Hahahaha!
4. Eat in their new restaurant
You can take their free shuttle, and the driver will tour you around their pond with sharks, barracudas, and turtles.

It was really fun and totally worth the time and money. Today, my whole body is sore—haha! Despite canceling our trip to Siquijor, this turned out to be the best alternative. Anyway, if you’re planning to stay there, they already have accommodations available. You can check them here: http://papakitsmarina.com/room-rates/
