So who love cats here?!! And who loves to spend most of their time on coffee shops??!! If that’s you then you might want to know that there’s a new coffee shop somewhere in Guadalupe where you can interact and play with cats. Yes, you read it right! A cat cafe!

Cat Cafe in Cebu, located near Villa Fatima Subdivision, is the first coffee shop to establish this kind of idea. Most popular in Japan, the cat owner of the cafe or shop gave Cebu the opportunity to try this one of a kind experience.
So let’s have a quick history here — I was once a cat lover when I was a kid and that’s one of the reason I was called ‘Ming’ by my classmates. My mum even gave us (my siblings) our own cats to take care of. And because of an unknown dark force, she decided to throw away those cats. lol! Actually, I really forgot the reason why she threw them away.
Moving on, I wanted to have a Persian cat and since this is new in Cebu, I checked out the place to experience the thrill! *insert cat-in-heavy-breathing-meme here*
But before we continue, here are the few things that you’ll need to remember:
- Cat Cafe is open 12nn to 10pm
- Follow the rules that the cafe provided. Please don’t stress out the cats just like what others did. lol
- They only serve snacks ranges from 50-180php
- WiFi is available **yihiiiiiii!!!!
So how did our visit go?

There will be cats everywhere and while others are dozing off and just having their siesta, some wants to play with you. Don’t forget to order something since interacting with these cutie-patotie cats, chilling on their bean bags and connecting to their WiFi are not for free. For me, I ordered the following:

I was quite busy playing around with the cats especially with this one:

There are 9 cats all in all and the owner plans to add more. The place, however, is not that big so be sure to be early or visit on weekdays to avoid the crowd. Luckily for me who went there at 8:00 pm, there are few customers at that time so it gave us more time to play and took photos of the place.

Good thing about them is that they don’t snatch away your foods. They just sit or lie down somewhere in the corner staring at you and perhaps, plotting for your death? loljk!

Some are even avoiding the customers like this one haahahahahaha

While others are surrendering themselves to the customers and let us touched them for let’s say…… 10 seconds! Yes, they’re cruel like that.
Some are just dozing off below the tables.

After an hour before it closes, the place got crowded instantly ’cause of the new customers and that made me leave the cafe. God that was the sign to leave! lol. It was a nice experience after all and a must-try! For more, you can visit their Facebook Page.
