El Nido Travel Guide

El Nido is one on my bucket list and supposedly, I should have gone here last year already but canceled it. El Nido is known for its beautiful beaches, limestone mountains, caves, lagoons, and marine life. Many people want to visit El Nido to experience its beauty, but they often think it is expensive. However, that turned out to be wrong when we went there with only ₱10,000 as pocket money for two people for 4 days and 3 nights. DIY Davao-Bislig-Hinatuan-Tandag-Lanuza-Surigao City

So many asked us, ‘Why go to Davao if you’re going to Enchanted River? You can go to Butuan’ and blah blah blah’. I have my own reasons and one of those is to experience how safe Davao City is. Although, I didn’t stay that long in Davao thanks to the delayed flight of Cebu Pacific, I was able to experience how safe the place and how responsible Davaoeños are. It was a long trip from Davao to Surigao City and this post will give you an idea how to travel in a DIY Davao-Bislig-Hinatuan-Tandag-Lanuza-Surigao City route.

DIY Baler Trip

As a birthday gift to myself, I decided to go to Baler this time and yay I’m so excited. Bought a plane ticket 3 weeks before the trip, did some research on what to do there aside from surfing, filed a VL then boom! Let the DIY Baler trip begin! So where is this Baler by the way? DIY Cordillera Adventure (Baguio-Banaue-Bontoc-Kalinga-Sagada)

This trip is one of the most memorable ones I’ve had. A lot of unexpected things happened along the way — long bus rides, riding on top of jeepneys, landslides, and trekking through the unfamiliar Cordillera mountains while being drenched in rain. At one point, I even thought it might be my last day. Still, it was all worth it! Again, this is my Do-It-Yourself DIY Cordillera trip. Thanks to all the blogs as my resources, the trip was successful and an achievement to be proud of.

DIY Ilocandia Tour

When I started traveling, I always preferred DIY (do-it-yourself) trips rather than packages. Why? Simply because I wanted to manage my own time and explore places on my own. So when I decided to take an Ilocandia tour last year, it made me think about whether I should get a package and just follow the itinerary they would provide. Since the Ilocos Region is very far and it would be my first trip traveling by land, I almost booked us with one of those travel agencies on Facebook. Then I thought about it again, reviewed the itinerary, and told myself it was soooo boring. You basically just sit in a van the entire time, waiting for the guide to tell
