Salagdoong Beach in Maria, which faces Camiguin Island and features a cove-like view, is one of the main attractions on Siquijor Island. It is currently managed by the local government, so there is an entrance fee of 15 pesos per person.
The beach also has a (currently non-functional) water slide, cottages, comfort rooms, and a canteen. You can stay overnight since there are rooms available for rent. However, because the town of Maria is about 12 km away from Siquijor City, tricycles charge a separate fare for trips to and from the area.
Before you can reach the beach, enjoy Salagdoong Forest’s view.

Aside from it’s beautiful white sand beach, Salagdoong is best know for its cliff jumping. Just like Camotes and Funtastic Island in Cebu, they also have their own version here.

There’s really nothing to do here but to beach bum or if you have a gopro then go take some under water photos like these:

or meditate and think of all your problems like this:

or tie up your hammock or look for some shady part of the beach then drink a bottle of beer:

So that’s how our adventure in Siquijor ended. Too bad we weren’t able to buy any love potions. tehee~
